A cheerful tail wag could also include a full body jiggle. An Italian neuroscientist along with two vets carried on an experiment on thirty pet dogs. In this each of the pet was shown different objects/creatures. They were shown their master, a stranger, a cat and an unknown dog. All subjects responded in the same way upon seeing their owners, their tails wagged sturdily to the right side.
