A lifestyle survey with 2000 Briton participants clearly finds that 2 out of every ten women find men with dogs sexier than the ones minus the pooches. It also revealed that having a dog makes a man more attractive than the men who own expensive cars and flaunt designer clothes.

A global survey emphasizing on the major turn-ons for women globally, apart from physical features, has shed light on the value of having a pet as a desirable trait for men. One in five women vouched for the attractiveness of the guys who were seen along with dogs. The attraction is instant, and as an asset, the dog is two times more appealing than a big salary or a huge house. Other assets, for instance designer clothes charmed only one in 20 women while just 6% were pleased with an expensive car.

Alternatively, when it comes to men, half of the men surveyed showed their inclination towards women who made them feel relaxed; and four in ten men become glad if they get complimented on their looks.

What makes dog and men combo attractive to women? It can be explained by the way women perceive the men who keep dog as a companion.

The basic context of this attraction lies in the innate nature of women and the equation between men and women. Traditionally, women have mainly preferred providers – the alpha male of the group; the one who would look after her and her children. Over the years, that tendency to favour caretakers has remained and now can be held accountable for the affinity women have for the men with dogs and puppies.
