How To Calm a Hyper Cat ?

hyper cat

A healthy cat normally displays playful and energetic behaviour as a part of her daily functioning. Yet, a cat engages in hyperactive behaviour can wreak havoc on a household and even danger herself. Rather than allow your feline friend to bounce off the walls, you can take below mentioned simple steps to tone down her hyperactivity:

Step 1: You can tie one-foot length of fishing line to the end of a stick with one foot length. After that, tie the quill of a feather to the end of this fishing line.

Step 2: You should hold the stick down toward the floor and then move your wrist so as to make the feather dance on the floor. It will attract your cat.

Step 3: Hold the end of the stick as you move your arm away from your body. It will move the feather back and forth that will entice the kitten to run to and fro because your cat tries to catch the feather between her paws.

Step 4: Move the object slowly until your feline friend catches it in her paws. After that, put the toy away and begin petting the cat slowly, from her shoulders to her tail.

Step 5: Count to three, slowly, as you firmly pet the cat from her shoulders to tail that will deliver a calming touch to her. Start at her head and work to the tip of her tail once your cat starts to relax. Continue until your feline friend begins to fall asleep. In this way, you can calm down your feline companion easily.
