Pet, Parents And Loads Of Fun!

Pet Fed Kolkata- 28th Feb & 1st March, 2015

Attention all the pet parents and dog lovers of Kolkata!

After a very successful stint in Delhi, Pet Fed is now coming to your city to give you a chance to spend two marvellous days with your beloved and charming pet.

Pet Fed was founded in 2014 and inaugurated its first chapter on 1st Nov 2014. It was a one day event which took place in Dilli Haat, Delhi. The enormous response from people motivated the organisation to extend the duration and the reach of the convention. Thus, here it is, bringing a two day (28th Feb & 1st Mar’15) pet festival to the Science City, Kolkata.

Pet Fed is an occasion which gives you the opportunity to rejoice your companionship with your dear furry partner. It provides a properly planned and organised event wherein you can hang out with your pet and take away a joyful and exciting experience.

Love, care…

There will be a renowned canine behaviourist to guide you towards better upbringing and handling of your pooch. A free grooming session would freshen up your pet and leave it with a zippy look. You can also get a basic medical check up done on your dog with the help of a veterinary doctor, who would also assist you readily in resolving general health queries that you might have, concerning your canine.

The pet parents will also get their share of love when a room full of little furry darlings would welcome them with lavish cuddles and heartfelt licking. Defined as puppy therapy, this shower of innocent love is a sure shot stress killer.

An adoption camp will be set up by NGOs like ‘People for Animals’ to promote and facilitate adoption of cute little animals.

…and some action

The glorious police dogs will march in front of you and also display their special skills, which is sure to leave you greatly impressed. And what can be a celebration without music. Famous regional bands will be there to raise the jolly mood of the environment.

The most awaited and exciting activities of the two-day carnival will be:

Pet Walk This walk is for a cause. Pet parents are more than welcome to dress up the dog in any outfit or costume and walk along with them to raise awareness about cruelty against animals. All the proceedings of the dog fashion show would go to the local NGOs for animal welfare.

Scooby Doo Mystery – Get ready to play the detective with your ever-so-curious dog. The participation is free but the seats are limited, so hurry up!

Pup Cake Baking – Grab the opportunity to show your baking skills, with your adorable Fido in attendance, in the animal themed cupcake baking competition. There would also be scrumptious pupcake stalls for your dog to savour.

Paint for the Strays – School kids from standard 4th to 9th are encouraged to take part in the competition and let their imagination flow on the drawing sheet. With animals at the core of the thought, the best entries will be displayed in the art exhibition at the pet event.

Poetry Competition – Senior kids from class 10th to 12th are welcome to send in their emotions and perspective on animal cruelty in the form of verse.
