A cup of dog food should contain at least 300 calories. Male Great Dane puppies aged between 3 to 6 months need 4 to 8 cups of food daily, divided into at least three meals. From 8 to 12 months, feed males 6 to 10 cups of food and females 5 to 8 cups. Female adult Great Danes, aged 1 to 2 years, require 8 cups of food daily while their male counterparts need around 9-15 cups. Due to the Great Dane’s people-pleasing nature, they are relatively easy to train. These dogs are not food-driven and hence can be trained without using food and treats as rewards. However, please don’t be too harsh while training as they are quite a sensitive breed and may get easily confused.
Great Danes are exceptionally dedicated to their family, and if left alone, they may develop separation anxiety. You don’t want these dogs to exhibit destructive behaviour considering their enormous size.
Great Danes do need access to adequate space as they like to move around a lot. But if you can provide this dog with his daily dose of exercise, he can be easily accommodated in a 2-room set.
In response to directives issued by authorities regarding Corona Virus (COVID-19), There would be a complete lockdown in Delhi and NCR to support the cause we would work with minimal staff, and there would be a long delays in delivering shipments as our logistic partners has stopped services coz of government orders, which are badly affecting our services. Inconvenience caused due to this is deeply regretted.
