Royal Canin Hepatic wet dog food is a complete diet for a dog suffering from some sort of chronic liver insufficiency. With less copper and increased zinc, the diet aims to reduce the accumulation of copper in liver cells. Moderate amount of high quality proteins has been included to facilitate reduction of calories. The veterinary diet consists of reduced amounts of sodium to maintain a right balance of electrolytes; this helps to bring down hepatic stress. Carefully chosen nutritive components work to control the development of inflammation and fibrosis, and for the regeneration of hepatocyte.
