Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary S/O has been created to assist the health of your adult dog suffering from struvite stones. The complete and balanced wet dog food is capable of dissolving all types of struvite stones. Urinary S/O also helps to dilute the urine of the canine, decreasing the chances of struvite and calcium oxalate stone formation. Magnesium is a natural part of struvite crystals; thus, the veterinary diet consists of a very low level of magnesium. Low Relative Supersaturation (RSS) results in lower concentration of ions, and hence decreases the risk of crystal formation.
