DESCRIPTION: Royal Canin Sterilised 7 + is a wholesome diet designed to offer optimum support to the health of sterilised cats (7 to 12 years old). The food for the elderly cat has been formed with all essential nutrients, in proper quantities, to best suit its needs. At this stage of life, it is very important for the cat to maintain its vitality. For this purpose, the natural defences of the cat have been boosted with the addition of antioxidants (like vitamins, green tea and grape polyphenols) and essential fatty acids. After neutering, the cats experience a reduction in their demand for energy. On the other hand, it can also cause an increase in the appetite. Thus, there is a very probable risk of excess weight gain. To counter this risk, Royal Canine Sterilised Cat food offers a reduced level of fats and L-carnitine to help the feline maintain a healthy weight. With age, the risk of developing lower urinary tract diseases also rises. The proportions of minerals have been adapted to promote the renal health of the cat.
Maize, dehydrated poultry protein, vegetable protein isolate*, maize gluten, vegetable fibres, hydrolysed animal proteins, animal fats, minerals, beet pulp, yeasts, fish oil, fructo-oligo-saccharides, soya oil, green tea and grape extracts (source of polyphenols), hydrolysed crustaceans (source of glucosamine), marigold extract (source of lutein), hydrolysed cartilage (source of chondroitin).
